I was inspired to become an artist by my father and my identical twin brother. My father was a commercial artist for over 70 years and I followed in his footsteps. By the time I was six, I was drawing, could use an airbrush and started to try my hand at lettering. I wasn’t very good then but the lesson I was learning was that anything worth doing, was worth doing well.

My identical twin brother and I chose not to compete when we were very young. He would go into the sciences and today is a rocket scientist working for NASA. I would go into the arts and without him and the insights he has shared with me, I would be only half of what I am today.
